In today’s modest fashion world, lots of modest religious women are upgrading fashionable items according to the laws of modesty, more and more religious fashionistas holds enviable modest wardrobe despite limitations.
There is a misconception about how modest religious women dress. People mistakenly think religious women have to wear layers on layers, 2 sizes up, and unfeminine outfits that were cut to meet the most strict modesty guidelines.
True, we cannot run around in pants, short skirts, or short sleeves, but to say we cannot be modest and fashion forward at the same time is a mistake.
In my opinion the modern orthodox women can look respectable, noble and fashionable.
I think it is much more attractive when there is something left to the imagination and modest dress in a way makes it more attractive.
So how “the king’s daughter is all glorious within” and modest fashion get along with luxury fashion brands?
Woman wearing pretty clothes is not perceived as a negative thing in Judaism, on the contrary, the “woman of valor” is praising a woman who sews her clothes and dressed up. Today we don’t have to sew, we have more and more fashion designers that include modest clothing in their collections.
I do not think there is a contradiction between modesty and prestige. Nevertheless, the king’s daughter, right? When was the last time you saw a princess wearing tank top and shorts?

So there is nothing preventing religious woman from dressing up or wear brands as long as it’s within modesty. And the fact that you are fashionable does not make you less religious.
